This type of advertising is just picking up now in the UK and there are a number of bluetooth advertising and proximity suppliers. One of the newer suppliers that offer units from £34 per month is http://www.easyblueadvertising.co.uk they have just signed council-wide deals with north east-based councils to distribute their easybox.

For all those people that say they can transmit and deliver files to 100+ metres, a total lie. A mobile phone only has the capability of transfering files at 10m-20m slightly longer if good conditions.

If anyone can prove otherwise with a with a class 2 device i will eat my shorts.

Blozzy mesed up a conference in Glasgow. We had hired a unit which they uploaded a short film. It went wrong for us. I would reccomend going with Proximitymedia.co.uk/com as the offer a more rounded service, they actual advise on how to prepare and what techniques to employ.
Voted best ad agency by DRUM

2Ci Events have recently created a system that will allow for delivery of messages upto 350m. We are working har to get this increased to over 700m

Our system can also be "clustered" allowing for large areas to be covered, without users being pestered by the same bluetooth clip.

Proximitymedia offers Bluetooth Advertising and marketing services in the USA. They have a wonderful product and service offering. I spoke to the president Colby Fede at a recent demo and was impressed. Their website is http://www.proximitymedia.com/home.htm
