Erich - my mom and dad LOVE the chickens. Dad even commissioned Lynn to create a customized version for the birth of the first grandson in our family - a chicken sitting down with tennisshoes holding an egg (a decade ago). My friend Diana has an OLD version of the chicken Lynn created for a woman-run art show in Seattle about two decades ago. As my friend said “every goto has a chicken.” it is part of the family tradition. Nice to have the link to the chicken site!

My parents bought be the chicken from an artist up in Seattle - I will try and get her name. She started making these really decorative chickens and then started doing chalkboard chickens which is what has sold the best. :-)
