the first new zealand webstock conference was a huge success. what an outstanding effort from team members, sponsors and volunteers. ‘code for freedom’ was the theme, the love was felt all around. speakers included doug bowman, joel spolsky, kathy sierra and more. well done kiwis!

One of my favorite mobile applications I use while I’m on the move is mobile podcasting (also named mobcasting), I wrote about this before at the Wireless World Forum and at my personal blog here.
There are a lot of interesting podcasting discussions and interviews available on mobile and wireless, for example at thepodcastnetwork.com. Most files are 15-30 minutes discussions and if well encoded not bigger than 10-20 Mb files, so you can easily store the most interesting weekly podcasts on a 500 Mb stick.
