As an evangelist for “design ethnography”, Kelly Goto is dedicated to understanding how real people integrate products and services into their daily lives. Goto is principal of gotomedia, LLC, a global leader in research-driven, people-friendly interface design for web, mobile and product solutions for clients including Seiko Epson Japan, Adobe, NetIQ, WebEx and CNET. Her book, Web Redesign 2.0: Workflow That Works, is a standard for user-centered design principles. Goto is also the editor of gotomobile.com, a leading online publication on mobile user experience and serves on the national board of the AIGA Center for Brand Experience.
Media veteran Rudy De Waele brings more than a decade of digital media, mobile marketing and research to a fast-changing industry. Formerly the founder of RandomOne in Barcelona, Rudy led innovative concepts for SMS marketing via television, advertising and traditional publishing. His innovative research through the European Commission called MuLiMob (about multilingualism and mobililty) have helped pave the way for the future of mobile music value chain. Rudy�s focus includes strategic planning, mobile (youth) market research, mobile music distribution and its evolution, location-based services, (mob) blogging, mososo�s, collaborative systems, mobile communities and their social impact. Raj Singh is a mobile industry veteran having worked in all aspects of mobile over the past 9 years. Raj is currently a mobile consultant for Dell Mobile assisting them with their global mobile strategy. Raj previously, co-founded Veeker, a mobile video communication service, ToneThis, CNET’s top ringtone creation product and Otasoft, an LBS Bluetooth couponing service.
Raj has also worked in product management and strategy roles for Kodak Mobile, Cellmania, MobiTV, PlayPhone, Hungama Mobile and Antenna Software. Raj’s personal projects include Moblexa, a mobile toolbar, PocketTella, a mobile file-sharing service and Pubwalk, an LBS bar-hopping service. Raj has also been a mobile advisor to a number of companies including Guba, ChuckD Mobile, DeviantArt, Oomble, Muse, Nightt and several VCs within the valley.
